Cabinet Approves Reappointment of Prof. Tuifuisa’a Patila Amosa as Vice Chancellor of National University of Samoa

5 March 2026, Apia Samoa, [Gov’t Press Secretariat]: Cabinet has approved the re-appointment of Professor Tuifuisa’a Patila Amosa as Vice Chancellor of the National University of Samoa for a further three-year term. When she first assumed the role in 2023, she became the first woman to hold the position at the National University. Professor Tuifuisa’a brings extensive experience and long-standing service to the National University of Samoa. Her leadership and expertise continue to play an important role in guiding the university’s development and strengthening higher education in Samoa.
