GOD SEES AND REWARDS FAITHFULNESS Ephesians 6:8 “Knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.” Paul now anchors our service in hope. God sees what others overlook. He notices the quiet obedience, the unseen labour, the faithfulness that goes unnoticed by people. This verse reminds us that earthly systems do not always reward fairly—but God does. No act of obedience is wasted. No faithful effort is forgotten. The Lord Himself is the ultimate rewarder of good done in faith. This truth strengthens weary hearts. When work feels invisible, when service feels unappreciated, when effort seems overlooked, Scripture calls us to lift our eyes higher. Our true reward doesn’t come from bosses, systems, or applause—it comes from God. The promise applies to all believers, regardless of status, position, or role. In Christ, every faithful servant is seen equally by the Lord. He is just, faithful, and generous in His reward. When we live with eternity in view, we are free to serve without bitterness and labour without despair. Prayer: Father, thank You that You see every faithful act.
