This nationwide campaign rewarded loyal customers with a chance to receive a full year’s supply! of one of Samoa’s most loved rice brands. The promotion offered customers an easy way to participate and win: 1) Buy 2 x 40LB bags of Island Sun Rice at any Farmer Joe Supermarket. 2) Write your name and contact number on the back of the receipt. 3) Drop your receipt into the Entry Box at the store. From all entries received, 5 lucky winners were selected to receive 52 bags of 40LB Island Sun Rice each! That is equivalent to one bag of Island Sun Rice per week for an entire year. PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY The official prize giving ceremony took place on Thursday, 5th March 2026 at 11:00am at the Ah Liki Wholesale Headquarters, Vaitele. Winners received their prizes in a formal handover ceremony, attended by representatives of Farmer Joe Supermarket. The winners had a photo opportunity and enjoyed the celebration by sharing their stories with us. Farmer Joe’s Supermarket Representatives; Kristabelle Cowley and Faumuina Ivan Afamasaga. Ofusina Stehlin of Aleisa shared that her family relies heavily on support from her siblings in New Zealand and Japan. “When I heard about the Win a Year’s Supply of Island Sun Rice promotion at Farmer Joe, I immediately called them and asked them to buy rice so we could have a chance to win,” she said.
