Marist Rugby Club boosts St Joseph’s College 7s Team Preparations

The Marist Rugby Club, established just three years ago, has boosted the preparations of the St Joseph’s College rugby 7s side as it prepares for the upcoming BSP national schools sevens competition. An appreciation post by Marist Brothers Old Pupils Association: A heartfelt thank you to the Marist Rugby Club an affiliate of MBOPA for their generous donation to the St. Joseph’s College 7s team as they prepare for next week’s tournament. The club donated 15 full sets of rugby jerseys, shorts, and socks, along with a $2,000 cash contribution, giving the team a strong boost in their preparations. Marist Rugby Club President and Head Coach, Tapunuuomanū Roger Warren said the club is committed to giving back to the school and supporting the continued development of young rugby talent. Wishing our St Joseph’s College 7s team all the very best for the competition ahead, play with pride and make your school proud! The work of grassroots development by the newly established Marist Rugby Club had come to fruition in May 2025 with the naming of six of its youngsters in the Junior Manu Samoa. The Marist Rugby Club has also had several representatives named in the National 7s Squad as well as the Manuma 15s.
