Moatoga Fire was at a Fugalei Warehouse – Moatoga Hotel Still in Operation and Not Impacted in Any Way

The Moatoga Group have issued a statement following a fire that broke out last night affecting part of the company’s warehouse in Fugalei. It was widely reported on social media, with misleading reports that the Moataga Hotel had also been affected. The Moatoga Group would like to clarify for their hotel customers that the fire last night affected a warehouse behind SMI in Fugalei and not the hotel located across from the Market. We understand that this may have raised a few concerns for some of our guests and future reservations but we are humbly making this post to reassure everyone that the incident occured at a different location. So please do not be alarmed as Moatoga Hotel is still in operation and has not in any way been impacted by the fire incident. All current and future reservations will remain confirmed and ongoing.
