Samoa has had an explosive start to the 2026 Oceania Wrestling Championships hosted here in Apia with 15 medals on the first day of competition. “Our warriors took to the mat today in the Greco-Roman and Women’s categories and the results were nothing short of legendary..” Team Samoa finished Day 1 with a massive haul of 5 GOLD 5 SILVER amd 5 BRONZE! “The pride of the Pacific is on full display at Tuanaimato! Huge congratulations to all our athletes who poured their hearts out on the mat today.” Day 2 continues with freestyle wrestling and Samoa is expected to keep the momemtum rolling.
