The Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services proudly confirm that we will join hands with the Samoa Fire and Emergency Services Authority to take part in the Samoa Independence Celebration Fautasi Competition 2026. Our participation is more than a sporting challenge. It is a symbol of unity, discipline and the enduring commitment of law enforcement and emergency services to safeguard Samoa. By participating, we demonstrate the strength of partnership and the resilience of our people. Our involvement carries a deeper purpose and is to reinforce the national campaign Say No to Illegal Drugs. Just as teamwork and discipline are essential in the long boat, so too are they vital in protecting our nation from the dangers of illegal drugs. The SPPCS remain steadfast in our duty to protect lives, uphold the law and ensure that every citizen can enjoy a safe and prosperous future. As we paddle forward in June 2026, we invite all of Samoa to join us in celebrating independence and in standing strong against illegal drugs—for the safety of our nation and generations to come.
