Sustained by Grace, Marked by Gods Love

Ephesians 6:24 “Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.” Paul ends where the Christian life begins—with GRACE. After all the doctrine, all the instruction, all the armour and spiritual warfare, Paul’s final word is not effort, but GRACE. Everything we are called to do is sustained by what God freely gives. But notice who this grace rests upon: those who love the Lord Jesus Christ with an UNDYING LOVE. This isn’t a perfect love. It isn’t a flawless love. It’s a persevering love. A sincere love. A love that endures beyond emotion, beyond seasons, beyond hardship. The word carries the idea of incorruptibility—something not decaying, not fading, not deteriorating. In a world where love often weakens with time, Paul speaks of a love for Christ that remains steady and sincere. This is the true mark of spiritual life. Not giftedness. Not activity. Not reputation. But enduring affection for Jesus. Such love doesn’t originate in us alone. It’s awakened by grace and sustained by grace. The more we understand what Christ has done, the deeper our love becomes. And the deeper our love becomes, the more steadfast our walk will be. The letter ends quietly—but powerfully. Grace rests upon those who love Christ sincerely. And that is enough. Prayer: Father, deepen our love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Guard our hearts from coldness and distraction. Let our affection for Him remain sincere, steadfast, and enduring. May Your grace sustain us until the end. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Have a wonderful weekend. God bless and lots’a love, Warren
