Two Members of Parliament Officially Sworn In During Tuesday’s Sitting of Parliament

Motuopua’a Henny Papalii took his oath again as the MP for his constituency after resigning earlier as an independent and later joining the Fa’atuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi (FAST) Party. His swearing-in marks his official return to Parliament following the required constitutional process. He was also sworn in as Associate Minister of Health. Also sworn in was Tunumafono Clare Tai Tin, who recently won the by-election for the Safata No.1 constituency. She has been appointed Associate Minister of Revenue. Both MPs took their oaths before the Speaker and fellow Parliament members, officially taking their seats in the House.
