We serve in different ways, but we must always proclaim the same Christ

2026-03-18 - 19:13

ONE GOSPEL, DIFFERENT CALLINGS. Galatians 2:7–8 “On the contrary, they recognised that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised. For God, who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles.” The leaders in Jerusalem recognised that God had entrusted Paul with the gospel to the Gentiles, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the Jews. THE MESSAGE WAS THE SAME, but the mission fields were different. THERE WERE NOT TWO GOSPELS. There was ONE GOSPEL, carried by different servants to different people. And behind both ministries was the same power: God at work. The same God who empowered Peter to preach to the Jews was also empowering Paul to preach to the Gentiles. The effectiveness of their ministry didn’t come from personality, background, or reputation. It came from the work of God. This reminds us that in the kingdom of God, callings may differ, BUT THE GOSPEL REMAINS THE SAME. Some are called to different cultures, communities, or contexts. YET THE MESSAGE DOESN’T CHANGE—SALVATION THROUGH THE GRACE OF CHRIST. God works through different people in different places, but the power and message always belong to Him. We serve in different ways, but we must always proclaim the same Christ. Prayer: Father, thank You that the gospel is the same for every person and every place. Help us be faithful in the calling You have given us. Work through us by Your Spirit so that others may hear the good news of Jesus Christ. In His name, I pray. Amen. Have a great day. God bless and lots’a love, Warren
